2026 Westmark Scholarship Program
Westmark Credit Union is committed to the advancement of education in our communities and for our members. As an expression of this commitment, Westmark will award fifteen $2,500 scholarships in 2026, open to anyone pursuing post-secondary higher education.

Eligibility & Requirements
Scholarships are only available to members of Westmark Credit Union who meet the following criteria:
Active Member
Have an active Westmark Credit Union account
Accredited School
Attend a State Accredited or Licensed Post-Secondary university, college, or trade school in any state
Essay Requirement
Write a 300-word essay answering the provided question
School Year
Scholarship funds are to be used in the '26-'27 school year. *Beyond Go-On recipients can work with the financial literacy team.
Essay Question
"During your lifetime, what is the most important contribution you hope to make in society with your chosen career?"
Your essay should be 300 words.

Review & Prepare
Review the eligibility requirements and prepare your 300-word essay answering the question above.
Complete Application
Complete the online application using the official Westmark form.
Submit by Deadline
Submit your completed application by March 20, 2026. Winners will be notified by phone no later than April 17, 2026.
Important: All applications must be received NO LATER THAN March 20, 2026, and be completed in its entirety. All applicants must use a Westmark Application Form. Scholarship winners will be notified by phone no later than April 17, 2026.
Second-Year Opportunity
All 15 recipients of the 2026 Westmark Scholarship will have the opportunity to apply to receive an additional second-year scholarship of $2,500 for 2027.
This second-year scholarship will be awarded to 5 recipients of the 2026 scholarship and will require a separate application.
